NEW YORK, NY – Join Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) this week during a series of community events celebrating the diverse culture and heritage of New York's 13th congressional district.
On Wednesday, October 12th starting at 5:00 p.m. (EDT), Rep. Espaillat, in collaboration with New York State Assemblymember Yudelka Tapia and New York City Councilmember Pierina Sanchez, will host a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at Monroe College located at 2501 Jerome Ave, The Bronx, NY 10468.
Thursday, October 13th at 3:00 p.m. (EDT), Rep. Espaillat, in collaboration with the Harlem Hospital and community leaders, will hold an event honoring the legacy and impact of of Dr. May Edward Chinn, a Harlem icon and trailblazer in medicine. The event will take place at the Harlem Hospital (Mural Pavilion), 512 Lenox Avenue, 1st Fl., Lenox Avenue and 136th St.
On Saturday, October 15th at 3:00 p.m. (EDT), Rep. Espaillat, in collaboration with New York City Councilmember Carmen De La Rosa and New York Assemblyman Manny De Los Santos, will hold a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration event at Dyckman Plaza in Washington Heights. El Grupo D'ahora will perform live during the event.
