Rep. Adriano Espaillat Releases White Paper & Continues His Push for NYC TLC Alternative

NEW YORK, NY - Today, in his continued push to reshape New York’s Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC), Rep. Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) has published a new white paper titled, “In Search of Better Policies In Response to The Growing Influx of New Driving Services, Rideshare Applications & Challenges Facing New York Taxi Drives: Dismantling and Restructuring the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission (TLC).”

Earlier this month, Rep. Espaillat testified before the TLC to outline his proposal to overhaul the commission. He has also called upon the Department of Justice (DOJ) to investigate whether the TLC engages in discriminatory fining, selective enforcement, and entrapment practices.
