the Economy Created More Jobs in Previous Months Than Originally Thought

Newly Passed Infrastructure Law to Deliver Even More Jobs in Coming Months

NEW YORK, NY – In Case You Missed It - Job creation has risen significantly in the month of October, according to CNBC, thanks to the American Rescue Plan that Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) helped pass into law.

The economy added 531,000 jobs in October and more than 5.6 million jobs have been added since President Biden took office. Unemployment continues to fall, hitting a new record pandemic low of 4.6%. In fact, unemployment has decreased this year more than any other year in US history. Wages also continue to rise. The economy added 235,000 more jobs in August and September than we first thought.

This news comes as Rep. Espaillat helped pass the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act into law last week, which is expected to create millions more jobs in the coming months and years.
