Representative Adriano Espaillat Recognized Among Manhattan Power 100
Today, Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) released the following statement following his recognition as #2 on the Manhattan Power 100. A list compiled annually by City & State New York highlighting public officials, business leaders, hospitals, community leaders and advocates working to improve communities throughout New York City.
“It is a distinct honor to be recognized as one of the Manhattan Power 100 this year, and to be featured by City & State – New York for my service,” said Rep. Espaillat. “I’ve spent my entire life fighting for the people, beginning with those who have the least. As the first Dominican-American to serve in the United States Congress, it’s important to me that I continue to defend America’s promise: that all individuals – no matter your nation of birth, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or economic background – have access to the American Dream.“Serving the culturally rich and diverse communities in New York’s 13th congressional district has been the honor of my lifetime, and I look forward to continuing this work with each and every community leader here in my district, and throughout New York City in the decades to come.”
