Statement from Representative Adriano Espaillat on the Retirement of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi

NEW YORK, NY – Today, Representative Adriano Espaillat, issued the following statement in response to the retirement of Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi:

"Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi has been a historic and transformative political leader whose lifetime of public service has strengthened our democracy and improved the lives of millions of Americans. Her decision to not seek reelection marks the end of an extraordinary chapter in our nation’s history.
