NEW YORK, N.Y. – Today at 2:00 p.m., Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) will host a press conference in coordination with Angela Fernandez, Esq., Executive Director and Supervising Attorney for the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights (NMCIR) to provide residents of New York’s 13th congressional district with an update on his work to ensure Temporary Protected Status (TPS) remains viable following last week’s preliminary injunction for immigrants from Sudan, El Salvador, Haiti and Nicaragua.

 

The press event will be held today in front of the Harlem State Office Building located at 163 West 125th Street and is slated to begin at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

CONGRESISTA ADRIANO ESPAILLAT CONVOCA CONFERENCIA DE PRENSA SOBRE EL TPS

 

NEW YORK, N.Y. – El congresista Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) ofrecerá una conferencia de prensa en coordinación con Ángela Fernández, Esq., directora Ejecutiva y abogada Supervisora de la Coalición de los Derechos de los Inmigrantes del Norte de Manhattan (NMCIR), a fin de proporcionar a los residentes del Distrito Congresal 13 de Nueva York un informe sobre su trabajo para asegurar que el Estatus de Protección Temporal (TPS) siga siendo viable después de la orden judicial, emitida la semana pasada, que prohíbe temporalmente hacer cumplir las decisiones para terminar el TPS para inmigrantes de Sudán, El Salvador, Haití y Nicaragua.

 

El evento de prensa se llevará a cabo frente al Edificio de Oficinas Estatales de Harlem, ubicado en el 163 West de la calle 125, y está programado para comenzar a las 2:00 p.m. TDE.
