Join Rep. Adriano Espaillat During Press Conference to Protect SNAP, Food Stamps for Local Families

October 30, 2025

NEW YORK, NY – Friday, October 31 at 10:30 a.m. (EDT), Representative Adriano Espaillat, in collaboration with the West Side Campaign Against Hunger located at 549 West 180th Street, will hold a press conference demanding Trump and Republicans in Congress keep families fed.

"Despite having a contingency fund that allows them to provide November SNAP benefits, which impacts 300,000 NY-13 constituents, Donald Trump and Republicans have weaponized hunger by cruelly threatening to deny kids and families the food they need," said Rep. Espaillat.

Espaillat will lead local leaders, anti-hunger advocates and impacted families during a press conference to push back against this outrageous decision.
