NEW YORK, NY — Today, Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) issued the following statement in response to House Speaker Johnson’s planned visit to Columbia University furthering political divide and tension.

NEW YORK, NY — Today, Representatives Adriano Espaillat (NY-13), Jerry Nadler (NY-12), and Daniel Goldman (NY-10) issued the following joint statement condemning antisemitism on the campus of Columbia University: 

“Over the past week, we’ve witnessed what could be legitimate debate venture into dangerous antisemitic rhetoric, attacks and intimidation on Columbia University’s campus. We are united in our strong condemnation of the antisemitism and bigotry facing the Jewish community. No Jewish person in our great city should fear for their safety.  

NEW YORK, NY — Today, Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) issued the following statement in recognition of Earth Day 2024 and touted several pieces of legislation he has introduced during the 118th Congress:

"On Earth Day, we reaffirm our commitment to adopting climate solutions to save our planet," said Espaillat. "The difference we make today will have resounding impacts throughout our communities and the future of our society. I am proud to sponsor many critical environmental bills this Congress and remain committed to ensuring a greener, more sustainable future for the next generation."

NEW YORK, NY –  The 2024 Congressional Art Competition is now accepting entries from high school students from New York's 13th congressional district for the opportunity to display their winning artwork in the United States Capitol and the district offices of Rep. Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) for up to one year.

Artwork must be emailed to Art.NY13@mail.house.gov by this year's deadline, which has been extended to 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, May 3, 2024.
