WASHINGTON, DC — Earlier this Congress, Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) introduced the Combating Hate Across Campus Act (H.R. 7998) which would strengthen requirements for college campuses to independently track, record, and report information on hate crimes to the Department of Education.

NEW YORK, NY -- On Monday, April 15th starting at 9:30 a.m. (EST), Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) will hold a press conference with local advocates to address the oversaturation of methadone treatment clinics authorized by the New York Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) and other health facilities in communities around New York's 13th congressional district, particularly in Harlem and East Harlem. 

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced it would disburse an additional $38 million in emergency funding from the Shelter and Services Program (SSP) to New York City to support the ongoing efforts by local government and nonprofit entities to provide humanitarian relief to asylum seekers. 

NEW YORK, NY –  The 2024 Congressional Art Competition is now accepting entries from high school students from New York's 13th congressional district for the opportunity to display their winning artwork in the United States Capitol and the district offices of Rep. Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) for up to one year.

Artwork must be emailed to Art.NY13@mail.house.gov by this year's deadline, which has been extended to 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Friday, May 3, 2024.
