This resolution would recognize that climate change most severely impacts vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in the United States and around the world.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) reintroduced the Family Reunification Act of 2021, to help ease the burden on immigrant families and workers by providing them with certainty regarding their status by reopening a critical path to legal status set forth in Section 245(i) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, shielding immigrants from the overly punitive three- and 10-year bars, by eliminating the outdated application deadline.
