NEW YORK, N.Y. – Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) will host his 2018 Education Summit in collaboration with Manhattan Borough President Gale A. Brewer and special guest, New York City Schools Chancellor Richard A. Carranza, on Monday, June 11th at 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the George Washington Education Campus located at 549 Audubon Avenue.
New York City is largest school system in the nation educating 1.1 million students in over 1,800 schools. During the event, Rep. Espaillat, Borough President Brewer, and Chancellor Carranza will provide an overview of the status of NYC School District 6 and the ongoing efforts to ensure educational equity and opportunities for students throughout New York's 13th congressional district.
