NEW YORK, NY – Today, Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) signed on as a Co-Sponsor of H.Res. 988, a resolution introduced by Congresswomen Ayanna Pressley (MA-07) and Ilhan Omar (MN-05), in partnership with Congresswoman Karen Bass (CA-37), Chair of the Congressional Black Caucus and Congresswoman Barbara Lee (CA-13), to condemn police brutality, racial profiling and the excessive use of force, with as original cosponsors.

NEW YORK, NY – Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) and local elected officials will hold a virtual town hall to address new legislation and federal, state and local efforts to end police brutality and stop the targeting of African Americans and Latinos in New York's 13th congressional district and communities around the nation.
During this week's forum title "Coming Together in Faith and Unity to Demand Justice," Rep. Espaillat and leaders will be joined by special guest, Rev. Reginald Lee Bachus, Associate Pastor of the Abyssinian Baptist Church and President of The 400 Foundation.

NEW YORK, NY -- Today at 2:30 p.m., Congressman Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) will hold a press conference at the Harlem State Office Building located at 163 West 125th Street at the corner of Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd. to introduce a slate of legislative priorities, aptly titled the Harlem Manifesto, that calls for the implementation of policies to end police brutality and stop the criminalization of African Americans and Latinos throughout communities around the nation.
