Statement from Adriano Espaillat on Al-Ahli Hospital Explosion and Loss of Civilian Life

" I am deeply saddened and am praying for all civilian lives lost, Israeli and Palestinian, during this devastating conflict.

The explosion of a hospital-where the wounded and most vulnerable seek shelter and where the most selfless doctors and nurses work around the clock to save lives- is abhorrent. Hamas must not hide behind human shields.
